Welcome to
Mud Pies Australian Cobberdogs!
Why an Australian Cobberdog?
You may be asking yourself, why a Cobberdog? We asked ourselves the same question. Here is what we have come to know about Cobberdogs, and why we love them so very much!

Our Cobberdogs have allergy friendly, low shedding, low odor fleece coats that repel dirt.
Which means you can cuddle up with your fur baby, on the couch, with your favorite blanket worry free. No doggie smells. No fur covered furniture. No runny nose and itchy eyes! As we all have dog allergies here at Mud Pies, it's something we have really come to appreciate in this breed!
We know first hand how it feels to have sensitive skin. For those who suffer from sensitive skin, it's the dog you will find comfort in cuddling with. Their coat is fleece, and is truly lush and
silky to the touch.
Our Cobberdogs are highly intelligent!
They are quick to learn, easy to train. When Maddie went through her basic puppy training, she was meant to learn 8 commands. Her trainer ended up teaching her 25 commands! They are that smart! She isn’t finished yet!
She is continuing her training so that we can do
community service programs together.

As Cobberdogs are so smart, taking the time to properly train your new puppy will provide them with the mental stimulation they need, create deep trust and confidence in your dog, as well as deepening the bond you have with them.
Cobberdogs get along great with people of all ages,
and other pets.
Our Cobberdogs are bred to be exceptional pets, as well as emotional support and therapy dogs!

Cobberdogs have the most amazing intuitiveness. When you stare into a Cobberdog’s eyes, they don't just look back at you, they look deeply into your eyes. They connect with you. Often with an adorable head cock
as they interpret your needs.
For those who benefit from compression therapy, your Cobberdog can easily be trained to lay length ways on top of your body, their chin on your chest, as they stare lovingly into your eyes and give you comfort.
We do it with Maddie, and it's amazing!

Cobberdogs are entertaining! From the sweet way they interact with you, to the adorable way they lay upside down on their heads,
they will make you smile and laugh daily.
